New Faculty Orientation

New Faculty Orientation (NFO) is a 3-day event sponsored by the Office of the Provost and organized by the Office of Faculty Development. NFO is intended for all full-time tenure-track and full-time non-tenure-track faculty new to the University and for those who have come to NC State within the past year, or did not attend the preceding year’s NFO.

The purpose of the event is to provide information, skills and resources for faculty to successfully begin teaching, research, and extension and engagement activities at NC State and to familiarize faculty about NC State and the Raleigh/Wake County area.

The program provides opportunities for networking among new faculty members and interaction with experienced NC State faculty and university administrators.
