Now Accepting Applications for Reflective Educational Design |RED| Teaching Certifications

As new faculty members, the Office for Faculty Excellence would like to encourage you to register for the Reflective Educational Design (RED) Core Teaching Certification (CTC) or the Inclusive Teaching Certification (ITC) program.  We are now accepting applications for both asynchronous, online programs.

CTC is designed to provide support and recognition for faculty members at NC State who are dedicated to reflective teaching and learning. The certification helps faculty members advance toward becoming scholarly teachers.

ITC is designed for faculty and teaching graduate students to reflect on multiple facets of inclusive teaching, encompassing the creation of a welcoming, equitable course climate, the design and implementation of accessible and inclusive classroom practices and assessments, and the selection and implementation of inclusive, diverse course content.

All activities for the certification are online and asynchronous, and most participants are able to complete them successfully within an academic year. Here is more information and a link to the application forms:
